Morreale Family of Companies announces passing of Founder and Chairman, John F. Morreale

(Glen Ellyn, Ill., March 2, 2021) – The Glen Ellyn-based Morreale Family of Companies announced today that its Founder and Chairman, John F. Morreale, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, February 26 after a battle with cancer. He was 82.

I worked at MRES and the law firm when I was in college (about 20 years ago). I didn't know John F. well, but he always made me feel welcome and valued. One of my favorite memories of him was when overheard a male employee say something ridiculous to me about girls not understanding sports cars. John F. immediately sent me out on an errand and asked me to take his car (a brand new jaguar convertible) while looking pointedly at the young man.
